10 Jan Entain at the European Mixed Padel Tournament
Entain Foundation participated again this year in Padel Trend Expo, the second edition of the international event dedicated to the padel community. Among the most significant events was the European MIXTO Padel Tournament , sponsored by ASD Sportinsieme Roma, with the support of the Foundation.
The competition saw players representing Italy, Spain, Ukraine and England take the field.
Entain Foundation played on behalf of England, confirming the unconditional support within the MIXTO project. A commitment that continued off the field, with some Group employees taking part in training and volunteer activities at the ASD Sportinsieme Roma stand.
The journey continues alongside the association, winner of the first edition of the Entain Foundation's CSR Award, aimed at supporting organizations engaged daily in the development of social inclusion projects. Last month, on the occasion of the second edition of the award, the Foundation announced that ASD Sportinsieme Roma is among the organizations that will also be supported during 2024.
Giuliano Guinci, Head of Institutional Relations and CSR of the Entain Group in Italy, commented on the sidelines of the event, "The second edition of the MIXTO European Padel Tournament represents the first 2024 appointment of the Entain Foundation's extraordinary journey alongside the third sector realities supported by the CSR Award. A journey that has already been underway for some time that with ASD Sportinsieme Roma within the MIXTO project, a vivid example of how extraordinary shared results can be achieved by pooling everyone's abilities, without any barriers. Again, as a Foundation, we could not fail to make our contribution through the direct involvement of the Group's employees, on and off the field. The creation of social value is at the heart of the Entain journey, and this is possible by ensuring the continuity of inclusion projects within the communities where they are implemented, in synergy with the institutions, third sector entities and private operators that support them."
