26 Feb Entain Italy's Naples Audiovisual Hub of the Other Naples
Entain Italia is supporting the Audiovisual Naples Hub project that will help marginalized youth by offering them job opportunities, promoting social inclusion. The initiative is implemented by the L'Altra Napoli association in collaboration with theUniversity of Naples Federico II.
At the CSR Award, held last December, the Audiovisual Napoli Hub project was honored by the Entain Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to coordinate and support the Group's CSR activities. The award supports third-sector organizations throughout Italy by funding social inclusion projects with a focus on sports, technology and environmental protection.
Eighty young people not currently in education, employment or training (so-called "NEETs") will have the opportunity to access free training courses in audiovisual and film production, two growing sectors in the city of Naples. The project aims to promote the social integration of young people at risk of marginalization. To this end, classes will be created in which participants will work alongside university students, enabling mutual exchanges between participants from different backgrounds.
"As a leading technology company, we at Entain are excited to support a project that provides digital training courses for marginalized youth. We firmly believe that collaboration between institutions, the third sector and private individuals is key to promoting social inclusion and equal opportunities, contributing to the economic and social sustainability of our communities," said Giuliano Guinci, Head of Institutional Relations and CSR of the Entain Group in Italy.
