21 Mar Entain participates in Rome marathon along with Sport Without Borders
Entain Italy, again this year ran alongside Sport Without Borders at the Run Rome The Marathon.
A total of 21 relay teams composed of 84 employees and friends of Entain wore the Sport Without Borders solidarity jersey to support Joy, the educational and inclusion project promoted by the association, which involves the organization of summer camps and weekends in nature designed to involve minors who are in socially fragile conditions.
Entain has supported Sports Without Borders for years through the direct involvement of its employees in the Wellbeing For Good project, designed to promote employee well-being through sports.
At the CSR Award, held last December, the project was honored for the second consecutive year by the Entain Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to coordinate and support the Group's CSR activities. The award supports third-sector organizations throughout Italy by funding social inclusion projects with a focus on sports, technology and environmental protection.
Giuliano Guinci, Public Affairs, Sustainability & Retail Operations Director of the Entain Group in Italy, commented, "Initiatives such as Run Rome The Marathon lend themselves as an excellent metaphor for the journey undertaken by Entain Italia alongside third sector associations, supported by the CSR Award: great goals to be reached one step at a time. All this would not be possible without the enthusiasm of the girls and boys of Entain Italia, who again this year, with commitment and determination, allowed our relays to cross the finish line of the Rome Marathon. Sport Senza Frontiere represents a valuable traveling companion; with them and the other realities we are committed to achieving important goals, fostering greater inclusion within our communities."
