08 Apr Run For Autism 2024, Entain runs alongside Project Philippines
The 12th edition of Run For Autism, the only running race entirely dedicated to raising awareness of autism spectrum disorders not only in Italy but also in Europe, took place yesterday along the streets of the Capital. Conceived by Progetto Filippide in 2012, it is an integrated race where athletes with autism spectrum run with other runners without any distinction of bib number or category.
On the occasion of this significant event, there was no shortage of active support from Entain and its employees alongside Project Philippines: 27 employees and friends in fact participated by running the 10-kilometer non-competitive or the 5-kilometer cross-country race.
The association was honored last December for the second consecutive year as part of the Entain Foundation's CSR Award. The award supports third-sector organizations throughout Italy by funding social inclusion projects with a focus on sports, technology and environmental protection.
"It is always a source of great pride for us to be alongside the girls and boys of Project Filippide in a day of sport and celebration," commented Giuliano Guinci, Public Affairs, Sustainability & Retail Operations Director of Entain Group in Italy. "The Run For Autism reminds us once again of the extraordinary social value of sport, and fully reflects the purpose of our CSR Award. We will continue to promote the practice of sports, trying to bring out everyone's abilities and skills, so that everyone can make the most of their potential to reach the goal of inclusion together."
