Donation days with Avis
For several years now, Eurobet has been working closely with AVIS to support and strengthen its sense of solidarity towards others. Avis is a private, non-profit association that pursues a public interest goal: ensuring adequate blood supply for all those who are in need of a transfusion. Avis collects and contributes to approximately 80 percent of national requirements with more than 3,400 branches across Italy.
March 8: international women's day
On 8 March Eurobet organized a Round Table, 'No Woman no Fly: What future for the country without a renewed role for women in society.
At the meeting, speakers from the worlds of politics, government, and business discussed and debated issues concerning women's leadership, the recognition and promotion of gender equality, and the enhancement of women's professionalism.
M'illumino di meno
... there are those who planted flowers, those who dined by candlelight, those who recycled disused items giving them new life, those who abandoned their cars for bicycles...
These are small gestures of change under the banner of eco-sustainability, implemented by employees on the energy-saving and sustainable lifestyles day (“M’illumino di meno” – a play on words of a famous poem by Italian poet Ungaretti) launched by Caterpillar and Radio2 in 2005. The energy-saving and sustainable lifestyles day has become a symbol of the fight against waste and environmentally friendly behavior.
Company Vaccinations
Eurobet joined the project promoted by the Lazio region, and transformed its headquarters into a Covid-19 vaccine hub.
This has made it possible to offer vaccinations to all our employees as well as to several neighboring businesses.
The place to be: an ethical project for companies embedded in the urban fabric
The event was held on Feb. 15, 2022 at Eurobet's headquarters and was aimed at exploring ways to make the relationship between the public, private and non-profit/voluntary sectors virtuous so as to carry out local community development and recovery projects based on findings contained in Eurobet's first Integrated Report.
The event, which was attended not only by the company’s management but also by the main institutions of Lazio and Rome, was also an opportunity to take stock of the current situation concerning environmental and social sustainability initiatives and to identify necessary actions to make public-private collaboration more effective. Indeed, within this context, the synergy between key stakeholders is itself a source of sustainability and value creation.
2022 Entain Italy CSR Event
The first edition of the Entain Italy CSR Event was held on Dec. 6 at Palazzo Wedekind in Rome. The initiative was carried out on behalf of the Entain Foundation and dedicated to supporting non-profit/voluntary organizations working on the development of social inclusion projects through the practice of sports.
The event presented an opportunity for discussion between representatives of government institutions and sports. The debate focused on necessary actions to strengthen the synergies between the public, private and non-profit/voluntary sectors so as to increase the effectiveness of projects aimed at ensuring social inclusion through the practice of sports.
A total of ten project proposals were submitted to the Entain Foundation in this first edition of the event. Given the quality and high social impact of the projects, the Foundation decided to support them all.
