10 Lug Entain Foundation and Sportfund at Brenta Open: together for more accessible and inclusive mountains
In the setting of Rifugio XII Apostoli in Stenico (TN), in the Brenta Dolomites mountain range, the ninth edition of Brenta Open was held on July 8 and 9. This important event, which took place at an altitude of 2,489 meters, was attended by athletes involved in the project "Move up!" by Sportfund, supported by the Entain Foundation.
The event-created by theDolomiti Open Association in collaboration with Sportfund-is unique in Italy and involves people with and without disabilities, promoting a more accessible and inclusive mountain, and emphasizing that a common good such as these mountains, recognized as a UNESCO heritage site in 2009, is such only if it can be enjoyed by all.
The collaboration between Entain Foundation and Sportfund - which began in December 2022, on the occasion of the first edition of the Foundation's CSR Awards - includes support in the activation of climbing and trekking preparatory courses for people with disabilities and training courses for technicians.
